About Food

Chefs | Crops | Other Markets | Farm Stands | CSAs

At the Austin Farmers' Market, there is nothing short of a delightful encounter between people and their sustenance. Fresher food from local sources tastes better, has more nutrients and contributes to the local health of the community (people's personal health, environmental benefits and development of the local economy).

Chefs' Circle members will be presenting cooking demonstrations at the Market during approximate times of 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on special Market days. Stay tuned to this website through the current newsletter, to find out who is scheduled and what new seasonal delicious product they will use from the Austin Farmers' Market. More chefs are signing on every day so this list will grow as well as the plants and trees that the farmers have in the fields!
