DIRECTIONS: Take exit for 38th and1/2 Street from I-35 and go westbound to Lamar Street (about a mile). Turn right (north) on Lamar. Go eight blocks, including going through 45th street light and then turn right on 46th Street. Half a block to your left is a large “P” circle sign, which is the entrance to multi-levels of parking (floors 1 to 2, and also 4 to 6, for market / retail customers,). There is also street parking for free if you come early! More than 700 parking spaces.
The market is located one block east from 46th and Lamar, at the intersection of 46th and Triangle Avenue.
The SFC Farmers’ Market is the largest (over 110 farmers and other vendors) certified growers-only farmers’ market in the state. The SFC Farmers’ Market is not only certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture, but also by the more rigorous Texas Certified Farmers Market Corporation, a statewide professional agricultural trade organization that requires farmers’ markets to have 51% or more farmers at their markets. It is a project of Sustainable Food Center, a local non-profit 501 (c)(3) health and human services organization.
